Job Summary:

HR Service Jobs is seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Ground Crew team at Bangalore Airport. As a Ground Crew Member, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient airport operations by supporting various activities on the ground, including baggage handling, aircraft servicing, customer assistance, and safety management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment at one of Indias busiest airports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist passengers with check-in, boarding, and disembarking procedures.

  • Handle and manage passenger luggage, ensuring safe and timely loading and unloading.

  • Coordinate with airline staff and ground service providers to ensure smooth flight turnarounds.

  • Perform safety and security checks on the aircraft before departure.

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

  • Operate ground support equipment safely, including tugs, belt loaders, and other machinery.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ground crew work area.

  • Follow all airport safety protocols and industry regulations.

  • Report any maintenance or operational issues to the relevant departments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in aviation or hospitality is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Ability to work in a team environment and handle high-pressure situations.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 20-25 kg).

  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and at irregular hours.

  • Fluency in English and/or Hindi; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as airport ground handling, customer service, or hospitality, is preferred.

  • Experience with handling aviation equipment and working in a fast-paced environment is a plus.

  • Freshers with a keen interest in aviation may also apply.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position with rotational shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays).

  • Standard working hours: 40 hours per week, with overtime as required based on operational needs.
