B2B Operations Manager, Food Industry
Job Description:
- Oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficient workflows, accurate execution, and timely completion of tasks.
- Manage customer orders from receipt through fulfillment, coordinating deliveries and ensuring customer requirements are met.
- Coordinate with international and local suppliers regarding procurement, shipments, inventory requirements, and delivery schedules.
- Work closely with warehouse teams to maintain accurate inventory records, efficient stock movement, and proper handling of food products.
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory planning to ensure product availability and operational continuity.
- Prepare, review, and maintain operational documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, billing records, shipment documents, and reports.
- Maintain accurate records relating to product information, supplier documentation, quality requirements, and operational processes.
- Coordinate with sales, customer service, logistics, and other internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
- Support compliance with company policies, food safety requirements, quality standards, and documentation procedures.
- Assist with process improvements and implementation of operational best practices.
- Perform other related duties and projects as required by management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in operations management, supply chain, logistics, procurement, or a related field.
- Experience working with inventory, order fulfillment, supplier coordination, and operational processes.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, customers, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in the food, FMCG, import/export, or distribution industry is highly desirable.
- Understanding of quality standards, traceability, and documentation requirements within a food-related environment is an advantage.
- Proficiency with operational systems, inventory management tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
