Administrative Assistant III
The Administrative Assistant III provides advanced administrative and clerical support to an OCDE program or department, independently managing a wide range of complex office functions that require strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and detailed knowledge of OCDE procedures. This role supports multiple staff members, prepares technical documents and reports, maintains specialized databases and records, and coordinates large-scale meetings, trainings, and events. The position also handles sensitive information, communicates with diverse stakeholders, tracks budgets, processes program documents, and ensures accuracy and compliance across all work products. Ideal candidates excel at managing shifting priorities, producing high-quality work with minimal direction, and building effective working relationships in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. An Eligibility List will be established for this position.Education and Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Graduation from high school or high school equivalency test. Three (3) years of increasingly responsible office administrative or secretarial experience.
